Hi everyone, I'm having this problem:
When I start the Mojave installer, sometimes the screen freezes with the apple logo and the installer menu behind (can move the mouse but can't clik) or maybe it freezes in the apple boot logo after the verbose.

I read all the laptop and the clover guides.

My Laptop is a Lenovo V310-15IKS
i5-6200u
Intel HD 520
8 GB Ram
120 SSD

Maybe this can help, although I know I don't have to trust that:
1581611233975.png

used the file config_HD515_520_530_540.plist

I only changed the resolution (1366*768), the theme (embedded), and in SMBIOS added the Memory ram (without that it did't start).

I think it can be several problems, starting with the configuration of the gpu, or the memory RAM which I think only loads 4gb instead of 8gb.

Please help.

windows is not a reliable source for showing DVMT most laptops ship with only 32MB, 64MB is what you are after:
you may need to use the special EFI Shell

no need for DSDT to read the installer, acpi/patched should be empty

try updating your clover version:

try updating your lilu and whatevergreen kexts

you may need to use the special EFI Shell

Can I know how much dedicated memory I have from the efi shell?

the other things are done.

yes, when you enter in the command first off all, it will tell you, you need to follow up the guide first

Hi @Feartech

I succeeded changing the DVMT value, it was 0mb.

first try to leave it at 32mb
Now boot a little better, but I still have the same problem.

then try 96 but I don´t know what config.plist use because config_HD515_520_530_540.plist is for 32mb.
I'm not sure how to remove the patches correctly (framebuffer-patch-enable = 0)

or removing all PciRoot(0)/Pci(0x02,0) property.

Another question I have is what value should I put in ig-platform-id.
is it ok 0x191B0000? or must be 0x19160000 or 0x19160002?

Can´t change my Clover version because now I'm on a PC.

0x191B0000 is fine to use, i use that on mine

dvmt 64MB or 96MB or 128MB will be fine

i see you got to the installer screen, well done

Is there a possibility that the changes are not made?
Or my config.plist is wrong?
