I had a Catalina install working using clover. I broke clover when preparing for Big Sur, and have moved to opencore.
I have successfully upgraded my machine to Big Sur using opencore 0.7.6, following the vanilla guide. I had to remove my Vega to do this.
I have not worked on USB and audio yet, wanting to enable the Radeon Vega first.
Motherboard is an Asus ROG Hero IX based on Kaby Lake. Graphics card is a Sapphire Radeon Vega 64 Nitro+. I'm using iMac18,3.
When I physically install the Vega, the machine boots and I can start OSX, but the screen then shows rapid vertical lines and gives me the repeated error:
IOPlatformPanicAction->AppleAHCIDiskDriver before rebooting.
I've searched for similar issues and cannot see an obvious solution.
Would appreciate some help!
