at the chimera screen use the -X command that will boot you in safe mode.

So, a long but rewarding process...I'm running OSX 10.8 in full HDMI with no hiccups and was able to boot without unibeast. Booyah. Thanks to everyone for their help, now just creating a HDD clone and going to update to 10.8.3 and then figure out getting my EVGA GTX 650 Ti Boost card installed.

Getting your GTX650TI Boost to go shouldn't be too difficult with 10.8.3 , just set graphics enabler to NO and you should be good. If you try the Nvidia drivers make sure to check that thread also.

Yup, just updated to 10.8.3 and took it like a champ. I'm running strong, now!
