Hi all,
I've been using a 2013 macbook for the past 5 years, in the last 2 i used as my desktop pc - I use it to surf the web (a lot, and i mean a lot! of tabs open on chrome, safari and firefox simultaneously!) and for editing documents/spreadsheets and etc...

Now i'm looking to replace it and want to build my very first hackintosh.
The device should be small, something like the mac mini form factor but should be powerful enough to able to work on dozens of tabs open simultaneously.

So, if you have any existing builds or can recommend a new one your help will be appreciated!

So I have finally compiled a list of items that I think will be great for my needs, would love to hear yours opinions:

CPU - Intel I5-8600
https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819117885&cm_re=i5-8600-_-19-117-885-_-Product
- no plan on OC, so dont need K model
- upgrade to I7-8700 seems to be too expensive and that grate of a performance bump

Motherboard - ASROCK Z370m-ITX
https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Produ...793&cm_re=ASRock_Z370m-_-13-157-793-_-Product

Memory - G.Skill ripjaws V 16GB
https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Produ...955.364641186.1537970592-976766226.1537970592

Storage - Samsung EVO 970 256
https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Produ...re=samsung_evo_970_256-_-20-147-689-_-Product
- could take Evo 860 500GB for the same price but it seems the r/w speeds justifies

Case - Fractal design node 202
https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Produ...451.364641186.1537970592-976766226.1537970592
- was looking for a small case like SFF but could not find any that were good quality and looked good
- comes with PSU

Cooler - Noctua NH-L9i
https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Produ...955.364641186.1537970592-976766226.1537970592
- dont know if that will be enough for this build or not, maybe will buy additional fans later

will buy a wifi card on ebay as well.

Any thoughts?

You'll be fine with the Noctua Cooler. I personally think stock coolers is enough for non-K CPUs. (I use them).
Your specs are somewhat similar to mine. So for what you need it should work no problem.

I thought about the Node202 when choosing parts. But left it out mainly because I didn't need a GPU, and you also don't have one. My choice was the Inwin Chopin.
