I could boot into the installer with no boot flags, (I used the upgrade guide) I installed but can't get into the operating system.

I have tried -x-f-v, graphicsenabler=yes and npci=2x2000

Boot with -v (verbose) and post a pic of the screen where it hangs. Did you install over an existing Mavericks?

Here is the screen shot

make sure you have a space between those boot flags right? (I think)

-x-f-v

should be

-x -f -v npci=0x2000

EDIT:

graphicsenabler=yes is also case sensitive, should be

GraphicsEnabler=Yes

Ah ok! :)

From the the looks of that screenshot I'd say you need to install the ACPI rollback for the 5-series motherboards. But of course that means you'll need to get to the desktop to actually install it from Multibeast 7. D'oh!

Anyone?
