Hi,
for some reason the following command does not work within my environment:
"defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles -boolean false ; killall Finder"
I do not get any error messages but all hidden files are still visible.
when "defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles -boolean true ; killall Finder"
is working fine. I am running Yosemite, the OS is installed on a SSD drive when my home folder is on a separate HD...
any help or suggestion will be very much appreciated.
Thanks
