Hi Guys.

First of all thank you for reading this and trying to help. any help will be kindly appreciated.

it has been few weeks (on/off) that I am trying to install hackintosh on my PC. I am a very technical person and I usually never gets to ask a questions in forums since good old google always solves my issues. this kind of problem got me with pants down, literally tried everything.

-- stuck on [PCI Configuration Begin]

I know this is possible to do on my platform, and the issue is from something I missed, I will be glad to use your help in order to solve this.

some background:

Motherboard: Gigabyte X299 UD4-PRO

CPU: intel i9-10920X

GPU: AMD 5700XT

Bios: F7c (latest) - I made sure all configurations are set to the proper values:
/M.I.T/Advanced Frequency Settings/
a.) Extreme Memory Profile: (X.M.P): Profile1

2.) /M.I.T/Advanced Frequency Settings/Advanced CPU Core Settings

a.) Active Cores Control: Auto
b.) Hyper-Threading Technology: Enabled
c.) Intel Turbo Boost Max Technology 3.0 : Enabled
d.) Intel Speed Shift Technology : Enabled
e.) Enhanced Multi-Core Performance: Enabled/Disabled
f.) CPU Enhanced Halt (C1E): Enabled
g.) C6/C7 State Support:Enabled
h.) Package C State limit:C6
i.) CPU EIST Function: Enabled
j.) Energy Efficient Turbo : Disabled

3.) /M.I.T/Advanced Memory Settings/
a.) Extreme Memory Profile (X.M.P):Profile1

4.) /BIOS/
a.) Boot Numlock State: Disabled/Enabled
b.) Security option: Setup
c.) Full Screen Logo Show: Enabled
d.) Fast Boot: Disabled
e.) CSM Support: Disabled

5.) /BIOS/Secure Boot/
a.) Secure Boot Enable: Disabled

6.) /Peripherals/USB Configuration/
a.) XHCI Hand-off: Enabled

7.) /Peripheral/Thunderbolt Configuration/
a.) Security Level : SL0 - No Security

8.) /Chipset/
a.) VT-d: Disabled/Enabled

9.) /Save& Exit/
a.) Save & Exit

I tried to follow openCore guide, using USB, but I keep get hanging on that "PCIE Configuration Begin" error. I saw several solutions (e.g https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore...tion-begins-previous-shutdown-hpet-hid-legacy

AND

https://dortania.github.io/Getting-...ethods/manual-hedt.html#finding-the-acpi-path)

AND ALSO

but I am not sure I did this correctly. I am attaching my decompiled DSDT system file and the SSDT-RTC0-RANGE.dsl I used (after edit) to see if its an issue from there.

the above SSDT thing is the one thing I suspect of, but i really tried a lot of variations that did not help.

Also tried adding ncpi=0x2000 or npci=0x3000 to bootargs, did not help.

I am also attaching my config.plist if any of you may want to take a look if i missed something.

config.plist, DSDT.dsl, edited SSDT-RTC0-RANGE.dsl & EFI, all found attached to here (since no external file links allowed!)

let me know if anything else is needed

ANY HELP WILL BE VERY MUCH APPRECIATED!!

lilu kext should be at the top of the list in your config.plist

yes, the order matters a great deal

thank you for your efforts.
so I did what you said and changed the order, but then happens what happened to me before (i just ignored it because 80% it was PCI configuration begin) it is halted on different messages.
first time:

1. stuck on "Forcing CS_RUNTIME for entitlement: com.apple.private.security.disk-device-acesss"

a.jpeg

2. ALF, old data swfs_pld_entry <ptr>, updateruiles_msg <ptr>, updaterules_state <ptr>

b.jpeg

and last one, as always, our king, [ PCI configuration begin ]

c.jpeg

are those just different messages that needs to be taken care of? is "stuck on pci configuration begin" should happen 100% of the times otherwise it is a different issue?

You may need to add agdpmod=pikera to your boot arguments.
tried that, its already in the config.plist file

bootargs = -v keepsyms=1 debug=0x100 ncpi=0x2000 alcid=1 agdpmod=pikera
