Help Gigabyte GEFORCE GTX 650

I have a new Gigabyte GA-H61N-USB3 and a Gigabyte GEFORCE GTX 650 -- I cant get the graphics card to work -- when I plug it in to the board the screen goes grey and nothing is displayed -- it just hangs.

The computer works great with on board graphics but that was not the plan -- I bought the card hoping to use it. Please help I would like to get this working and am not sure what the issue is.

Firstly you are using Mountain Lion? Lion does not support this card.


I am not familiar with this motherboard, but do you remember if there was a setting in the bios for using a GPU?

This card requires 'Graphics Enabler - No' from MultiBeast to work.

I am trying it now with the Graphics Enabler - No option. The video is working great now -- the system boots and everything is working. The issue now is the network card is not working correctly and pulling an IP.

There are multiple network settings in MultiBeast, try a different one and see what happens. I've had to fiddle between a couple to get one that works.
