Trying to get my 2nd Graphics card going
OSX 10.6.8

AMD Radeon HD 6870 works. All good.
GeForce 8400 GS does not.

I ran Multibeast and installed the NVIDIA Plugin
and both cards show up in my system profiler now.
But the card doesn't seem to output video.

I'm new to this but it seems there could be a DTST
issue. Any thoughts?

What plugin? i don't see any NVIDIA options in Multibeast.

What is the ID of this card?

Hmm...the plugin did not fix it :(

Where do I find the device ID of the card?

utilities > system profiler > hardware > graphics

Mine looks like this:
GeForce 8400 GS:
Chipset Model: GeForce 8400 GS
Type: GPU
Bus: PCIe
Slot: Slot-1
PCIe Lane Width: x8
VRAM (Total): 1 MB
Vendor: NVIDIA (0x10de)
Device ID: 0x10c3
Revision ID: 0x00a2
ROM Revision: 0x00

Hmm..the device ID, 0x10c3, looks nothing like the other device IDs in the file.

Do I just add it like this?

<string>
0x00f010de&0xfff0ffff
