Help: GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3 i5 2500k cpu panic at boot

I know you get to see these all the time from "newbies" but a few pointers would be good.

Config is pretty much as standard as possible

GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3 rev1.0
i5 2500k
using the HD3000 graphics

SSD which is Crucial M4
4Gb RAM corsair vengeance LP DDR3

Build sequence is

1) downloaded lion 10.7.4 and used unibeast to create bootable USB stick - called it USB
2) boot to USB/unibeast, intall lion onto SSD
3) boot via USB/unibeast and then at chimera prompt to Lion disk using GraphicsEnabler=no
4) download latest multibeast and the DST for GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3 F10
5) run multibeast just selected the mimimal amount of changes
a) UserDSDT Install
b) System Utilities
c) System Definitions Minimac - to get the HD3000 graphics working
figured I would run it again to get the audio working etc once booted properly
rebooted and instantly kernel panics

rebooted to ignore the kernel cache and now hangs with the "Still waiting for root device" error.

managed to edit out the minimac sys def back to mac pro and I can now boot it with GraphicsEnabler=no.

Any ideas how to proceed?

Go back to 10.7.2?

I think you don't need ton set minimac to get hd 3000 running?

hi, I think you do.

I followed viewtopic.php?t=36296 , Storky's sandy bridge build and the BIOS and multi beast settings combined got it all up and working.

Running like a dream!

You only need to use mini if you want to use more than 1 display. Otherwise Mac Pro works fine.

This has been discussed many times before and would have been found using search.

Would the key change , to stop the KPs, therefore have been the BIOS setting to

On-Chip Frame Buffer Size. I had greater than or equal to 8GB RAM, so I set it at 480MB+2MB for GTT.
