Your laptop definitely supports UEFI.

Follow the guide previously linked.
 
when booting, my laptop gets stuck at a white apple logo on boot with the progress bar not loaded and not loading at all.

Sounds like you're not using the correct config.plist.

Post EFI/Clover folder ...
