<< Solved >> Heaven and Valley Benchmarks Stopped Working

Ran it again, this time with Resolution set to 1920x1080. (Result above was with the "OOB" resolution at 3840x2160.) Quite a difference!

Yes, I selected Medium Desktop as my Preset for this bench. These are the results for the 4700G in my sig build. My AMD Radeon Graphics RX Vega 8 on medium settings beats the maximum FPS from the AMD Radeon Graphics RX 580 on high settings, and is pretty close in other areas. That doesn't seem right, I'm sure the 580 would crush my Vega 8 on medium though, my score for high was 3700!.

For any comparison to be valid the test/benchmark must be run using identical settings. If that isn’t the case then it is not a true test.

Craig, the true/valid benchmark is with the High setting, not Medium.

The dGPU should smash the IGPU’s benchmark score, unless you are using a really old dGPU. The only fair comparison for your AMD 5600G is another IGPU that supports Metal in macOS.

My high settings score was embarrassing @Edhawk!, as mentioned in my previous Post it was 3700, very very poor and no comparison to the 580. But even so on medium settings my 4700G crushes 580 max FPS which is on high settings!. I would be interested to see your benchmarks for the 5700G!.

Craighazan, be sure your "Resolution" in the top right corner of the Results window has been set to 1920x1080. My initial test was run with a newly-downloaded BasemarkGPU app whose resolution was initially set to 3840x2160. If the Results box shows that, the FPS result will reflect that.

Only card I have benchmarked with this app is an RX 5700 XT, it gave a score of around 14K, on High and 1920x1080 resolution.

Only scored 8K with the initial settings and default 3840x2160 resolution.

Oh I did thanks!. It originally set the 4700G to 1200x700, I changed it to 1920x1080.

Bench the 6700XT!, I scored 21K on high settings in 1920x1080, ooof!.

The two benchmarks for the RX 5700 XT.

I don't think much of their comparison site.
