HDMI Port not working !

Hello,

the most Hardware on my HP Pavilion x360 14-dh0003ng Laptop works great with Mojave but HDMI Port won't work !

I have full graphic acceleration with my uhd620 vram 1536mb!
But to get this acceleration i had to make a framebuffer Patch with Hackin Tools to the config.plist otherwise only 7mb will show without acceleration.



Here are my specs:

• Model: HP Pavilion x360 14-dh0003ng
• CPU: Intel Core i5 8265U
• Grafik: Intel UHD 620 Graphics
• Wlan:Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11b/g/n/ac
• Disk &Ram: 256 GB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD
• DDR4-2400 SDRAM, 8 GB

I add a Photo. My internal Laptop screen is connected via DP is that right ?
Or something wrong there?

i patched my config.plist with the info from the link you send but nothing happens !

Look at the picture i sent.

in my System/Library/Extensions/ there is no kext with AppleGraphicsDevicePolicy ?
Why should i patch then ?

The kext "AppleGraphicsDevicePolicy" is not placed in SLE. I follow that topic so I can use HDMI.

its not the same your laptop use an dedicated graphic chip !
My laptop not. By the way AppleGraphicsDevicePolicy is packed in AppleGraphicsControl.kext so it is placed in SLE !

anyone else have a tip for me ?

I have lenovo s340-14iwl(i5-8265, uhd620) and I have a same problem.
Almost all patches did not enable hdmi output.
No hdmi output in case "bus-id 01", or reboot in case "bus-id 04"
My laptop has characteristic feature.
HDMI output works only As I start to windows with bios settings "UEFI only".
When I set the bios boot option to "UEFI and Legacy support", HDMI output has no siginal.
This is the same both windows10 and ubuntu.
I have doubt this is related to mojave or not.

Please say your windows hdmi output in accordance with bios settings?

Hello decnova !

In my Bios Settings UEFI Only is enabled !
I have a poor bios this means can't modify alot.
On the same machine i have win10 and ubuntu,too
There are no Problems with HDMI there everything is working like a clock !

Only Mac Os make the problem with HDMI.

I think a Master like Rehabman or PikerAlpha would
fix it in 3 Minutes!
