This solution did not involve a patch (so no 'repatch') -- it was a rollback. Would involve determining the actual problem and patching the current kext to fix it.
 
ohh :( have done update, and get kp (after old kext installing). screen attach.

Maybe you need to also rollback IOAccelerator*.kext and/or IOGraphicsFamily.kext.

These kexts are typically tightly coupled. It is not surprising they crash when you mix different versions of them. What is surprising is when they continue to work when mixed...

Sorry. I mean after installing HDMI fix from 10.9.1.
 
Will try to test after getting 10.9.1 dmg. Anyway, don't know if its needed, cause yoshi is coming.

Tested. IOAccelerator*.kext rollback was needed. HDMI is working, with no sound.
