Hi All,

I was hoping someone could help me, I've gone through quite a few threads but can't find anyone with the same problem.

So graphics acceleration works fine on ML, using DVI-only get full resolution and all - BUT there are some glitches on the screen all the time. They're tiny speckles like on old analog TVs. Has anyone experienced this? Any solutions?

My GraphicsEnabler is set to Yes. The screenshot shows it does detect HD4000 too.

Would appreciate any help! :)

if your talking about green or pink noise then it is almost certainly a video signal issue. Use a different cable (shorter the better) or try a different port on the MB/Display.

I'm fairly sure it's not the cable, because there's no noise on startup nor in Windows. :banghead: Any other ideas?

It has been a while, and I still can't seem to find a solution. Can any body help please?

I've been scouring the forums for an answer, but can't seem to find anyone else with the same issue, I even did a full reinstall - tried different strings (just randomly).

Obviously, I get graphics acceleration and it is detected just fine - but I can't get rid of these speckles on the screen.

UPDATE: HDMI is speckle-free for now, but I still need DVI for my second monitor. Would really appreciate some help. Here's my chameleon bootplist, and how system profiler sees it.
