After many "clean" installation , i can't enable HD3000 in Full Acceleration- QE/CI.
I tried Chimera+mac mini (multibeast ) (setting BIOS-ram 480MB)..

Intel HD Graphics 3000:
Chipset Model: Intel HD Graphics 3000
Type: GPU
Bus: Built-In
VRAM (Total): 512 MB
Vendor: Intel (0x8086)
Device ID: 0x0126
Revision ID: 0x0009
My "HackMac" recognized Hd 3000 correct and resolution is OK ,but no Full.QE/CI.
After i tried :
1. Open Terminal and type
sudo -s
fill password
then type

defaults read /Library/Preferences/com.apple.windowserver GLCompositor

2. If you have QE/CI enabled, there will be like this:

{ tileHeight = 256; tileWidth = 256; }

but if don't maybe QE/CI not yet enable…

3. Do this to enabling QE/CI

defaults write /Library/Preferences/com.apple.windowserver GLCompositor -dict tileHeight -int 256 tileWidth -int 256

4. Restart

....
When check i receive "tileHeight = 256; tileWidth = 256;"

But again no Full acceleration PLEASE HELP

That means...HD3000(EQ/El) work only in 32bit mode..( Photoshop is 64bits..).??? i :banghead:

As far as I can tell (from what I read), Snow Leopard (and presumably Lion) will run 64 bit apps quite happily as 64 bit apps, regardless of whether your kernel is 32 bit or 64 bit.

I'm not so sure this is a long-term solution however, as I believe Mountain Lion is really truly getting rid of the 32 bit kernel support.... but that will be a whole different can of worms anyway...

You can try : boot with -v and UseKernelCache=No

It work with me.

boot with (-v UseKernelCache=No) ...rebuild cache again ...but no acceleration :banghead:

I have i5-2500k + Z77m-d3h, mac 10.7.4

I get full QI/CE if boot with -v + UseKernelCache=No

Are you using the hdmi output?

I finally got an hdmi cable to check hdmi output to tv... didn't repeat this test, but it seems that the 32-bit kernel didn't enable QE/CI hdmi -->hdmi (but does for dvi --> hdmi). However, I took out the 32-bit kernel and turned off the kernel cache, rebooted, and seemed to be getting QE/CI again (for hdmi --> hdmi). strange.
