The resolution can not be changed, i have made in the org.chameleon.plist a fix resolution for not having the default "1024/768"
My graphics, says HD2500 64 mb, so its proberly not working full yet, with theese settings. will post a screenshot when im home from work.

No, I'm talking about GrahicsEnabler=Yes in chameleon plist. Do you have this line in the plist file (in /Extra folder)?
(Don't set resolutions via chameleon for now).

yes, the GrahicsEnabler is set to YES :)
I only did what you said.... Put it to 6.2 Premaid and the GrahicsEnabler to yes :)
in that way the ML finds the HD2500

Aaah, OK :D

When you get home, upload the graphics section from system info app. That way, we'll see if the kext is loaded.

If not, we'll see if the device id of your card is in the kext and maybe try some EFI-strings.

Well, the good news is that the stock drivers contain your dev-id which means it WILL work :D
The bad news is that the kext is not loading.

Now we need to inject proper EFI device properties to force the kext to load.

Lets start with this:

ig-platform-id: 01660003, Stolen RAM for FB: 64MB, Pipes: 2, Ports: 2, FBMem: 2

Code:
7f0000000100000001000000730000000200000002010c00d041030a000000000101060000027fff04002c0000004100410050004c002c00690067002d0070006c006100740066006f0072006d002d006900640000000800000003006601140000006800640061002d0067006600780000000d0000006f6e626f6172642d31

Copy this to the device properties in chameleon wizard, enable it, and save.

But is still got lots of flashing when i go to the "top sites" in safari, and it will all most not open the launchpad, but maby thats another issue :)

"" Sorry my bad... after switching to premade 6.2, i can turn on my 'core multi prosessing' iin the Bios, and now there is no flashing, and launchpad work smooth.. ""

Congratulations :D

Interestingly though, its detected as an HD4000!!

Could you please share a screenshot of the loaded extensions from the system information app -> software -> extensions.

Is the HD4000 kexts loaded or just the capri?

EDIT: You've beat me to it.

OK, could you please change the title of the thread to "[Guide] Enable Intel HD2500 Resolution and QE/CI" and update the first post with the steps/screen shots. It'll help out many people.

Sure, will do in 1-2 hour, have a very busy kid on my feet.. .hehe

Hi people,

I'm doing the same but can't get it to work. My hardware is Gigabyte GA-H61M-S2V-B3 with Intel i5 3470.

10.8.3 - ok
Chameleon 2189 - ok
MacMini 6,2 Smbios - ok
ig-platform-id injection - ok

But can't get QE/CI working and system profiler doesn't recognize HD2500 or HD4000, just generic. I post a screenshot.

Do you know what's different?
