HD becoming read only

Since my install of ML I've had this issue where one of my SATA HDs becomes read only. If I reboot it goes back to read/write. Is there any way to fix this? Rebooting really isn't a good solution. Thanks.
 
Now even when it reboots it seems to stay as read only.

It's formatted for Mac OS X (Journaled). It has worked fine for years as such. Since my switch to ML I have started having this issue. Prior to that it was absolutely fine.
 
Anyone?
 
I've tried to verify and repair the disk. One time that worked, but not this last time.
 
So no one has any idea?
