Howdy! I have Mavericks installed on my system, which is an overwrite on a 10.8.5 install. Everything is by and large smooth.

But for all this time I boot from a USB stick to bring up the OS choice screen, and would like to try putting a bootloader onto my HDD if possible so I don't need to have a USB stick plugged in all the time.

Is this possible, without having to reformat the drive?

Thanks!

Boot into your system and download multi beast 6.o for mavericks from the downloads section of this site. Open it and go to the bootloader section and pick a chimera bootloader. I have attached a screenshot. Screen Shot 2013-10-25 at 10.19.25 PM.png

Thanks!

I did that and get the "boot0" error issue. I will see what I can do to get around that, and boot from the USB drive during the interim...
