Haswell Versions of the Gigabyte BRIX

Yes you need a patched kernel. Search with Google for the Mavericks Haswell nuc installation guide. I followed it nearly step by step. Except I needed an extra patch to install on an MBR partition. For some reason the Guid osx would not load. For obvious reasons I didn't use the peovided dsdt. Everything works, except WiFi and Bluetooth, you need to change the card if you want them to work. For audio I installed voodoohda, but that doesn't work with the HDMI audio, just the audio jack. For the ethernet I had to install an extra kext. Don't know if it works, but my network card is recognized. Intel HD 4400 works, with full QE/CI. It uses the hd5000 drivers by default.

Yah! Looks like the Iris Pro versions are coming soon.

Has anyone known of a successful built of a hackintosh with the GB-BXi7-4770R?

I'm planning to put it inside a G4 Cube, to have enough place for a raid of 3,5inch drives, and at the same time, have enough transcode/graphic power for a plex server. (it will replace a i5 mac mini 2011)

Thanks!
