Finally I jumped into Ventura, and installed latest beta on a spare volume.

1. downloaded latest public beta8 / dev beta10 and created a usb install disk.

2. got the latest open core 0.8.5, latest kexts, and existing USBports kext, Monterey config with iMac 17,1 smbios

3. had 2 issues. open core freezing at IOUSB lines, and os installer complained of compatibility

4. updated the config file and USBports kext with 18,1 smbios. as this is iGPU config.

5. install went smoothly.

audio is not working. ( update : audio is working, after scrubbing audio controls in system settings )
iGPU shows 7mb VRAM, and a bit shaky. it seems, running OCLP 0.5 patch fixes this issue.

Anyway new RX6600XT is coming in 2 days. Will try with iMac 18,3 smbios. And if needed, with iMacPro 1,1.

installed Gigabyte RX 6600 XT gaming OC card.
both Monterey 17,1 config, Ventura 18,3 config are working fine.
all 4 ports ( 2 HDMI, 2 DisplayPort ) are working.

Geekbench 5 - OpenCL - 70089
Geekbench 5 - Metal - 89000

Please I have the same card as your intel 4600 and I want to activate it but I am having trouble using OCLP Alpha 0.5.0
Can you help me please. I posted a post about this issue

as of now, you have to build OCLP with many dependencies installed. If you can't, then wait for them to release a binary app.

latest blender 3.4 alpha is working well. 3.3 is crashing.
Blender bench mark GPU score is 1020.

it gets the job done, but for 3D software, Nvidia is like twice faster for same money.

FCP X benchmark BruceX was done in 14 sec. That's fast !

Fine, thank you.
I have a question please. Will OCLP be the only way to patch an intel hd 4600 on a ventura on my hackintosh?
I think so. I haven't found any alternative.

updated to Ventura RC
