can anybody help me with this....

i have a SSD for lion, i want that to run the boot for lion and my applications only... all the rest i want on my 1tb HDD, do i have to do this manually or is there someone in the system to do this so it does it automatically for me... sorry for the noobness

For optimal performance I wouldn't recommend moving the entire Users folder off the SSD, just make symlinks to the media/documents folders on the HDD.

Reason being, the Users folder contains app data, your mail store etc and will be constantly reading from the slow hard drive if the whole folder is moved, essentially negating the speed advantage of an SSD.
