Why dont u update to 10.6.8? It's free download from Apple's site.

i Guess i should try but it will take a while
thanks alot

I'm having the same problem, but in 10.7.2

Each time I boot up I have to use the Unibeast USB drive. When I try to boot straight from the hard drive, it hangs at the blank grey screen right after the Apple logo with the spinning wheel.

Any suggestions?

Boot with -v and see where it hangs at.

Booting with -v does the same thing as booting without -v.

-x keeps it at the spinning wheel.

Any thoughts? I haven't installed FakeSMC and am running everything fine. The last install I tried FakeSMC on it started causing kernel panics, so I avoided it this time.

hey guys i bough the thumb drive but i was wondering if i can install lion over SL without deleting all my files
it would be awesome if there was a way
