I screwed up and forgot to plug in my extra hard drive and now I can't get to the install screen, I did before.

Any tips?

I get an "E-Bios read error: device timeout
Block 0x73692052 Sectors 0"

Can you be more specific as to where you are in the install process WRT BiOS, rBoot, XMove and such. The more details you can provide, the easier it will be to help you.

What was on the external drive in the way of installers, bootloaders or any OSX installs?

What guide/method are you using.

Just before you get to the "Chimera Bootscreen" screen It stops and gives me an ebios read error.

I re partitioned the drive again and used Unibeast to put it on the flash drive. xMove would not work I tried that as well.

There was nothing on the drive.

As usual, I forgot to plug in my other hard drive I wanted lion on so I clicked shut down at the install screen and unplugged my others and used only that drive.

Also, I am using the tonymac guide, and I will try someone elses.

Anyone have one for a Z68AP-D3?

I am going to try this guide when I get home: viewtopic.php?f=168&t=32306

It is close to the same motherboard as me.

I recall that mobo has both SATA 3GB and SATA 6GB connectors, you will need to use the 3G ones to install, preferably the lowest numbered one.
