Hang up on CPU Power Management

I would appreciate any guidance anyone can offer. Installed Clover and prepped usb per instructions but keep getting this panic. System has been trouble free w 10.8 for several years so this isn’t a clean install.

Also, if I select It I can’t boot from previous system through Clover if usb is inserted.

I sure would appreciate some help on this. I have deadline looming (probably shouldn’t have ventured in) I have a feeling it’s something straight forward, but I’m a little out of my league. Thank you so much.
