Half ram only showing plz help

I have in total 8gb of ram but when I go to about this Mac it says I have 4gb of ram(bios says I have 8gb of ram) thanks if you reply

Edit /Extra/org.chameleon.Boot.plist and add the following key:

<key>UseMemDetect</key>
<string>No</string>
