Hi. I've been looking at getting Mac OS on my custom PC from 2016. I still have an i5 6500, Gigabyte R9 390 G1, and Gigabyte Z170XP-SLI. Could my setup still be hackintosh compatible? Thank you.

The R9 390 may have problems according to the Radeon Compatibility Guide.

You may try MacOS Sierra 10.12.6 (may require Lilu/WhateverGreen or RadeonDeInit in Clover) / High Sierra 10.13.6 / Mojave to see if it works.

Mojave has the device ID for the 390 so it should work. Check your device ID in windows using a CPUID app. if its 0x67B01002 you should be OK.

Alright, I took a look at the device ID in GPU-Z and saw that it was one off from the ID

Looking at Device Hunt my ID gave AMD Radeon 290/390 as well. Perhaps I might be lucky that the 390 and 390X are similar enough that Mac would work? Idk. It also came to mind about installing Mac OS without the discrete GPU and then deal with whatever issues arise from the 390, if it makes a difference?
:/
