Hackintosh - Stuck at Apple logo/loading screen (Sierra)

Status
Not open for further replies.
Hello, this is my first Hackintosh attempt. After running my bootable USB and selecting Sierra, I see the Apple logo and loading bar which cannot progress past one pixel.

Here is where it gets stuck in verbose mode:

Interestingly, my LED mouse/keyboard lose power at this point.

My specs are:
Mobo: ASRock Fatal1ty Z170
CPU: i5 6600k
GPU: Asus STRIX GTX 1070***
The rest probably dont matter (I am guessing).

*** I know my GPU doesn't currently have compatible drivers but trying to boot my hackintosh produces the same result whether the GPU is installed or not.

I've looked at the recommended BIOS settings here.
I don't think my Mobo has CFG-Lock, OS type, XHCI handoff or the ability to diasable USB 3.0. I've used recommened settings for everything else.

Does anybody have a solution? Any help is appreciated.

Hi, I'm having the same problem. Did you get around this?

My specs:
Mobo: Gig Z170M-D3H
CPU: i7 6700
GPU: not installed yet (evga gtx 1080 Ti Founders)

I think I'm having the same problem:
Mono: Gig Z170M-D3H
CPU: i5 6400
GPU not installed yet

I think this means we need to install Intel 530 graphics drivers (for onboard video).
Working out how to do that via Multibeast now.

The same problem :(
I hope that someone will help us

I resolved thanks to this other thread

Are you able to install macOS Sierra if you:
At Clover Boot Screen select Options > PCI devices > USB Ownership and USB Injection

@klke, please update your profile (personal details) with your Motherboard or Make/Model, CPU and Graphics Card.
The Rules said:
Profiles need to contain at least your primary system to assist others with helping you.

Boot your system in Verbose Mode and post a picture of your screen when it freezes/hangs.
At Clover Boot Screen press space bar and select Verbose (-v)
