Hackintosh Laptop for 400$ --> 4540S i3 ?

Hi guys,

I don't really know if i'm in the right section to post my thread so all my apologizes if i'm just bothering you all. I'm all new to the hackintosh world and I have to buy a new laptop with a budget of 400$.

I've found the HP ProBook 4540S with i3 3120M which seems to be in my price range and have pretty good reviews. But I'm wondering if it is a fully hackintoshable laptop (since it's a 4x40s family I think only the i3 3120M can be a problem) and if I'm not missing something.

Maybe someone knows if the i3 3120M will be a problem for hackintoshing or if a better laptop is available in my price range. I see lots of you guys have already tried the experience with the i5 version of the 4540S, are you guys happy about that laptop ?

HP ProBook 4540S with i3 3120M it's fine, as long it is i3, i5 or i7, you wont have problems with it.

Does the wifi work OOTB on the 4540s models?

Thats the worst case if it doesn't, (about £10 to replace it) somebody will a 4540s will be able to confirm that for you.
Everything else should work great, lots of support for that model here

I think I saw somewhere that wifi doesn't work OOB with 4540s models and need a replacement wifi card. But I don't find any 400€ laptop with wifi working OOB.
