Hackintosh G4 mod problem

I need to remove a usb hub from my Gigabyte motherboard to fit it inside my case. Has anyone done this before.
Will it cause me bios problems?

Will it cause me bios problems?

Should be fine just make sure none of the contacts from where the usb would be are touching anything. Otherwise the board will think there is a device in or worse damage itself.
