Hi guys,

I want to build my own cheap hackintosh.
I want to use it for World of Warcraft, browsing the web etc.

Here is a list of the parts i have choosen for my build:
Gigabyte GA-H55M-USB3 rev1
Intel Core i3-550
4GB-Kit G-Skill PC3-12800U CL9
Sapphire HD 5770 1GB GDDR5 PCI-Express
Corsair TX650W 650 Watt
Standart LG DVD-Burner
2 Samsung 1TB HDDs
Old Midi-Tower Case
Retail Mac OS X SL

I would like to run in 64bit mode and Dualboot Mac OS X 10.6.6 and Win 7
I'm searching for a Wifi-USB-Stick or Card
Which one works out of the box in 64bit.

I hope you guys can help me and sry for my bad english but I'm german ;)
Thx

Your build looks good, but I would go with a with the rev. 2 model of the the GA-H55M-USB if possible. Also, go with a Sony DVD-RW drive instead of the LG one. What are you going to do about an aftermarket CPU cooler? Please do not go with the stock cooler. Be sure to go with an ATI 5770 reference card.

I don't know about a USB wireless card, but I can tell you that I've had no problems running my Apple Airport card that I assembled; and it works perfectly in 64-bit mode too. If you do deiced to build your own Apple Airport WIFI card (which I strongly recommend), you'll need go with the GA-H55-USB motherboard or any P55 motherboard because of the PCI-Express slots.

I dont want to build my own airport card because the shipping to germany is a bit expensive?
But i'm going to buy a mugen(?) cpu cooler and yes the sapphire 5770 is reference.

Anyone here who has a working usbwificard?

thank you
but this is an HP-branded card.
is it SL compatible oob?

It's the same model number as mine, so it should be okay. You can see if he's selling any ones that say Apple on it, but as long as it's the same model number then you should be good to go.

after some research i found out they do not work :(

Please post your results here.
