I had tried that initially and couldn't get it to work. Never showed up as a boot option in the bios.

this AppleHDA work on internal speaker only, internal mic not work and the combo in/out not work on ML 10.8.5

I think that's the one I was playing with a while back. I still don't get how to patch applehda, a lot of the info is really old and outdated. I've been working on it off and on. I believe theres some development for the zenbook over on insanely, they have the same audio codec and very close to the same configuration.

Does anyone know where there is a guide for install Mavericks on the Asus x202e?? I am very new to hackintosh and would love to get os x up and running on my x202e. Will the old Mountain lion guide still work for mavericks? What would the easiest way to duel boot windows 8 and 10.9? Thanks! sorry for my n00bism.

Mavericks is very similar to ML, so you should probably use clues from the ML guide.

Can we get a update Maverick guide with the latest Clover and kexts? Thanks

So I have updated Clover to the newest version and with that was able to revert to vanilla versions of AppleACPIPlatform.kext and AppleIntelCPUManagement.kext. This has allowed me to finally have 5 different CPU steps instead of only x17 which makes my battery last a little longer. The only issue with this is that my battery now shows 0% all the time.

I have tried using the DSDT from this forum as well as one made by Jamiethemorris but still have the same issues. I then also applied this patch:

https://raw.github.com/RehabMan/Laptop-DSDT-Patch/master/battery/battery_ASUS-N55SL.txt

to both DSDT's and I still get the same issue.

Does anyone have any ideas of how to fix this without losing my CPU speeds?

Can you post your clover folder?
I tried with many versions. It could not get working.

Here you go: http://d-h.st/fv7

Just make sure you edit the config.plist file first since mine is set to automatically boot into "Macintosh HD" which may be called something different on yours. It also includes my kext files that I use so you may want to edit through those too.

With this you can also install the Clover preference panel too so it will automatically check for new versions and download them for you.
