Keep in mind sleep is delayed by ~ 15-20 sec.
And all assertions must be clear (check with 'pmset -g assertions').
And lid sleep does not work if you didn't implement backlight control.

I pmseted, but I do not know the exact meanings it shows:

DILLON-3:~ dillon$ pmset -g assertions

2017-01-13 23:44:21 +0800

Assertion status system-wide:

BackgroundTask 0

ApplePushServiceTask 0

UserIsActive 0

PreventUserIdleDisplaySleep 0

PreventSystemSleep 0

ExternalMedia 0

PreventUserIdleSystemSleep 1

NetworkClientActive 0

Listed by owning process:

pid 5760(AddressBookSourceSync): [0x0000611600010e2f] 00:00:05 PreventUserIdleSystemSleep named: "Address Book Source Sync"

Timeout will fire in 1794 secs Action=TimeoutActionTurnOff

No kernel assertions.

Idle sleep preventers: IODisplayWrangler

Sorry for bothering you again. I'm a idiot :banghead:,

That Address Book Source Sync will need to be complete or cancel itself before you expect sleep to begin.
1794 secs is almost 30 minutes, but I would expect the task to complete faster than that.

I'll keep my eyes open and report if I notice something. I have the glitch on top bar but I had them prior to using that patch...

Hrmmm, I removed the FakePCIID_XHCIMux.kext and no KP from USB3 still so I have no clue what fixed my USB3 heh (sorry).

I used RehabMan-Brcm patches as directed in github readme to fix my Bluetooth (I still need BTFirmwareUploader.kext to get it to load firmware for some reason but it works and come back after sleep so I am very happy!).

Note for anyone that intend to use Smart Touchpad driver instead of VoodooPS2, brightness keys aren't mapped the same way so they don't work but I read in a forum a way to do it fixing using some DSDT patching I'll try to do that later and report...
Please where can I find that "Smart Touchpad" driver and how to install it?

@cfb44 :
Thank you a lot for the guide!

Ive already finished on my Y2P i74510U, BIOS 76CN43WW:

- Advanced Mode, DVMT to 96MB, Bios Protection Disabled
- BIOS Patch (Whitelistening - Couldn't tell if it worked, as my "Broadcom bcm94352z" is still in delivery (at least the ROM from the BIOS matches now the unwhitelistened ROM))

So far:
For Advanced-Mode (BIOS):
- Ubuntu 14.04 LTS works very well. 16.04 not so :)

Writing BIOS by using Windows 10 64x works (the linked guide states otherwise):
- Disable Windows Defender
- FPT_v.9.5.0.1428
- Start Command-Prompt as Admin

Right now I'm preparing for Hackintoshing, unfortunately some links of your initial post dont work anymore,
eg the link to the IO-Kit-Patch.

Are you still using your Y2P-Hackintosh? Is it worth the effort? Any chance that you, please, update your links?

Many thanks in advance!

well. I sold my yoga 2 pro 8 months ago, but just purchased another. I have restored my original install, and will need to update (from 10.11.2). I will also update the original post, as a few links have changed. Hope to have this done soon, then I will work on installing Sierra

I haven't seen the term 'lip wake ' in the power information.

Hey guys,

Hope someone can help me.
I read all posts here but it seems, my yoga don't wanna accept, what I try..

So my problem is, I stuck at the step one.. The edit with ghex over Ubuntu..
So I can install everything and run ghex and everything is fine, I can also edit the last number, but when I want to save, ghex tells me I don't have the permissions to save that..

I think I tried everything, I also activated the root user, because the root is owner of the file.. But same problem, no permissions Blaa.

I'm not really want to run Mac on the yoga but I want to kick the Intel 7260 out of my window and replace it with a Broadcom BCM94352Z..

Ah I also tried Ubuntu 16.04 and 12.0 running on hard drive and usb.

Please!! I hope someone could help me!

Greeting from germany :)
