- Configuration:
[list:gtzvdv93] - I use minimal DSDT Edit from http://www.tonymacx86.com/dsdt.php[/*:m:gtzvdv93]
- SMbios set to MacPro4,1. Actually, I'm not sure what I'm doing here. I choose this after several benchmark under different SMbios. In order to match with MacPro4,1, I edit FakeSMS.kext:
smc-compatible: to smc-thurley
REV: to ATkPAAAF[/*:m:gtzvdv93]
- I can't remember which guide I follow to use Vervet frame buffer.
Please find DSDT edited with VGA as attached DSDT_vervet.aml[/*:m:gtzvdv93]
- 32bit and 64bit are working. I use 64bit.[/*:m:gtzvdv93]
- All harddisk including the one connect to SATA III is recognized.[/*:m:gtzvdv93]
- Sound card working[/*:m:gtzvdv93]
- Network card not working yet.
I just realized it when I write this post. Currently I'm using wireless network so it's not an issue for me.[/*:m:gtzvdv93]
- Internal Card Reader working[/*:m:gtzvdv93]
- Bluetooth Asus USB-BT21 working out of the box
Option "Allow Bluetooth devices to wake this computer" grey out. Bluetooth device is able to work after wakeup.[/*:m:gtzvdv93]
- Wireless USB DWA-140 H/W Ver.B1 F/W Ver1.30 working. Works in either 32bit or 64bit.
Download support software from Ralink RT2870 http://www.ralinktech.com/support.php?s=3[/*:m:gtzvdv93]
- Voip USB Adapter USB-B2k is recognized.
But SkyMacMate make Ralink wireless utility hang (Wireless USB DWA-140). So it's useless to have SkyMacMate running and I don't plan find a compatible wireless usb adapter.
Workaround #1. I use Voip USB Adapter inside Parallels Desktop running Windows. It's working perfectly with SkypeMate under Windows.
Workaround #2. Use Wireless USB TP-Link TL-WN821N (please see more info below) and running in 32bit. SkypMacMate is working fine.[/*:m:gtzvdv93]
- Logitech Webcam Pro 9000 is working.
Quality is not as good as in Windows due to lag.[/*:m:gtzvdv93]
- Apple Keyboard with Numeric Keypad
Apple Magic Mouse
Logitech Mouse M705
Apple Magic Trackpad
USB Extension Buffalo BSH4U005
are working.
Somehow computer sometime doesn't response to Apple Keyboard during booting. I often couldn't go to Bios "DEL button" or choose booting option "Tab button". Workaround: use normal PC keyboard when needed during booting.[/*:m:gtzvdv93]
- Previously, I use Wireless USB TP-Link TL-WN821N. It's working, but it doesn't support 64bit.
Software driver download directly from D-Link DWA-160. Installation is finished but failed. Change idProduct and idDevice in installed kext AtherosOtusMac.kext to match with TL-WN821N. Run Kext Utility after changed. Restart.
Good thing with this device is that Voip USB Adapter USB-B2k is working properly by running SkyMacMate under Mac.[/*:m:gtzvdv93]
- Apple Wireless Keyboard is working[/*:m:gtzvdv93]
- Bluetooth Planex BT-MicroEDR2X is working.
Bluetooth device is not working after computer wakeup. As I know, there is a workaround to solve this issue by restarting bluetooth driver.[/*:m:gtzvdv93]
