[Guide] Asus UX305CA UHD

So I have this issue with HIDPI. My native resolution is 3200x1800. With RDM application I can switch between resolutions, and I can select 1600x900(HIDPI) which is perfect and crystal clear (with the only problem of having laggy launchpad and other effects). I want to use 1080p as my resolution, but I get no HIDPI option and everything looks blurry. I tried enabling HIDPI by using this guide (which mentions your guides): https://comsysto.com/blog-post/force-hidpi-resolutions-for-dell-u2515h-monitor
After creating the DisplayProductID.plist and placing it to the override profiles, I still get no HIDPI option on 1080p. What could be the issue?? 1080p is x1.5 times smaller than my resolution, compared to the x2 (1600x900) used now, so it should be possible to be selected by some way..

You did not attach your display override file.
Also show where you installed it.
And you will likely need larger DVMT-prealloc + appropriate framebuffer patches to use 1080p HiDPI (eg. rendered at 3840x2160, scaled to 3200x1800).

Btw this folder didnt exist. I created it
/System/Library/Displays/Contents/Resources/Overrides/DisplayVendorID-4c83
DVMT-prealloc in changed from bios to 128
Which patches do you speak of if you may?

But what is the name of the file you put there?

DVMT-prealloc in changed from bios to 128

Need to patch the framebuffer to match (otherwise, the additional memory there goes unused).
See this guide for clues:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...lensize-patch-with-32mb-dvmt-prealloc.221506/

It covers patching for 32mb, but with a clear understanding, you could patch for larger DVMT-prealloc values (eg. larger framebuffer size/larger cursor bytes).

Thats whats causing the laggy hidpi?
How much MB do I choose for each?

How can I check my framebuffer data?
