[Guide] Acer Aspire 4750G On Sierra

Lastime i worte [Guide] Acer Aspire 4750G ROCKING EL CAPITAN 10.11.6
I think there is a newer version of OS X why not upgrade it?

Spec

• I5-2410M Sandy Bridge CPU
• AR5B97 Wireless
• Netlink BCM57780 Ethernet

Tools
- DPCIManager_ML (use as kext installer)
- Clover Configuator
- Multibeast
- Unibeast 7.0.1

Working

• Wifi
• Ethernet
• Brightness (Fn+F12 and Fn+pause)
• Volume (Sierra cannot control be default volume botton need to be remap by third party program,I use Karabiner-Elements)
• Audio
• USB 3.0
• Battery
• Keyboard and Touchpad
• Intel HD 3000

Not Working

• Nvidia GT 540M
• Bluetooth
• Mic

Recommend
-I recommend you to use my EFI because

• There is AppleHDA patch in config.plist if you don't have that patch your audio will not working
• There is custom boot argument that would run smooth on Acer 4750G
• I already patch DSDT

Create USB with Unibeast 7.0.1
- Select UEFI mode
- Open EFI to edit config.pilst /Graphics/Dual link set to 0(if not screen will split into 4)
- place VoodooPS2Controller.kext ,FakeSMC.kext,nullcpupowermanagement.kext into Clover kext folder 10.12
- Now you can reboot your computer and boot with USB
(you can skip 2-3 step by copy EFI folder that i upload to your USB EFI folder)

Installation
I'll skip here nothing is different from other computer.

Post-Installation

• -Lan (install with kext installer) there is 2 file
  • FakePCIID_BCM57XX_as_BCM57765.kext
    
  • FakePCIID
• Wifi (install with kext installer)
  • AtherosWiFiInjector.kext
  • toledaARPT.kext
• Audio(install with kext installer)
  • cloverHDA.kext
  • theres need to be modify config.plist/Kernel and kext patch (EFI folder that i upload is already modify)
• Battery (install with kext installer)
  • Use ACPIBatteryManager.kext (from RehabMan-Battery-2016-1118)
• CPUPowerManagement
  • I make DSDT patch with ssdtPRGen.sh-Beta
  • You will get file ssdt.dsl
  • Place to EFI\CLOVER\ACPI\patched\
• Usb 3.0
  • Install u3Driver_1114_2014.pkg (http://oyendigital.com/hard-drives/store/HBU3MAC.html)
• Multibest
  • UEFI Boot mode
  • FakeSMC , FakeSMC Plugin , NullCPUPowerManagement
  • Intel HD 3000
  • Macbook Pro 8,1
  • after install Multibeast copy config.plist in EFI folder that i upload to your harddisk EFI/clover/
• Sleep
  • I patch my DSDT with usb_prw_0x0d_xhc.txt (thank to Rehabman DSDT Patch)

now i will upgrade ram to 8gb and install 120gb ssd
i hope it can do some simple stuff and can use xcode or video/image editing ...
you know ...this is 2011 laptop .....

My 4570G is also upgrade ram to 8gb and 120gb ssd too :haha:

For daily usage is okay but video editing on final cut pro is decent performance.

i use it for apps(andorid,iOS) / web development , i think it can run well
but i hope it can run adobe lightroom without problem

Processor : Pentium B940 (Sandy Bridge)
Ram : 6GB
Graphics : Intel HD 3000
Everything is the same except the Processor and the Graphic Card. In the Z version there are no NVIDIA card, just intel. Can you help me out? Thank You!

The Pentium B940 does not have HD3000 (just Intel HD Graphics):

It is a guide for HD2000 (not your graphics device). And even it does not work any more, or probably never worked (due to lack of support in the QE kext for GT1).

Either way, off-topic here: This guide is for a laptop with HD3000.
