In regards to 10.7.4 Lion:

The Kepler graphics drivers are indeed in the MacBook Pro 2012 update, but the frameworks necessary for full graphics acceleration are missing. The update is not a full Combo update- it's a Delta update, which means certain frameworks are missing that ship with the MacBook Pros themselves.

I have a new MacBook Pro on the way which should arrive in a couple of days - any way to extract the missing framework?

Yes you will be able to extract. These are the two folders to back up :

/System/Library/Frameworks/OpenGL.framework

/System/Library/Frameworks/OpenCL.framework

AWESOME! :headbang:
Maybe It's time to replace my two GTX 460's?
