GTX 960 bad benchmark scores

i got this new graphic card and it works only with Nvidia web driver . but the scores in cinebench are worse then with an old radeon 6970 . is it normal or is something wrong with my settings ?

It's not uncommon, Cinebench isn't very meaningful. It's mostly CPU limited and Nvidia driver have a bigger GPU overhead, so they usually perform worse than AMD cards in Cinebench.
That obviously doesn't apply to apps/games/benchmark which put much load on the GPU.
