Added in Device Id to GF100 KEXT
download patched OpenGL / OpenCL kexts and performance is amazing.
Can you please link to the patched Kexts you mention?
Also, did you install the OpenCL Enabler 10.7.2 from Multibeast, or am I talking about the same thing as the patched kexts?
We have very similar builds, only difference being the motherboard (mine is UD7 F6) and card is EVGA GTX 590. I must be overlooking something obvious...
I've followed these steps without success:
1. Install Lion 10.7.2 via UniBeast
2. Install Multibeast (see attached) with Tonymac DSDT (not altered in anyway)
3. Restart, screen resolution locked at 1024x768
4. Edit org.chameleon.Boot.plist to include PCIRootUID=1. Already contains npci=0x2000 and GraphicsEnabler=yes (see attached)
5. Delete AppleUpstreamUserClient.kext as instructed by GTX 5XX Enabler, rebuild kernel cache with Kext Wizard.
6. Run GTX 5XX Enabler (
http://www.osx86.net/view/2074-gtx_5xx_enabler.html)
-Install "GTX Enabler Files" only
7. Restart verbose, screen resolution locked at 1024x768, card still not recognized (see system-information.png).
8. Run GTX 5XX Enabler
-Install "ATY_init" as instructed by GTX 5XX Enabler in the event that a card is not recognized.
9. Restart verbose, ATY_init reports card is 1088 (correct for GTX 590).
10. Black screen instead of login screen. Power off and reboot.
11. Boot into Safe Mode. "/sbin/mount -uw /", "rm -rfv /System/Library/Extensions/ATY_Init.kext/", "reboot"
12. Restart verbose. System appears to be rebuilding kernel cache.
13. Login screen back to normal, still locked at 1024x768, card not recognized.
14. Reinstall ATY_Init.kext from GTX 5XX Enabler (see attached zip file)
15. Edit org.chameleon.Boot.plist to include "<key>Graphics Mode</key><string></string>" (on separate lines of course)
16. Restart verbose, ATY_init reports card is 1088 (correct for GTX 590).
17. Black screen instead of login screen. Power off and reboot.
18. Boot into Safe Mode. "/sbin/mount -uw /", "rm -rfv /System/Library/Extensions/ATY_Init.kext/", "reboot"
19. Restart verbose. System appears to be rebuilding kernel cache.
What am I doing wrong here?
Thanks in advance!
