GTX 570 to GTX 660 Ti - Transition help needed please!!

The title pretty much says it all. I have a CustoMac running 10.8 quite nicely but its time to upgrade the graphics card from an EVGA GTX 570 to a Gigabyte 660Ti.

The 660Ti is in and I can boot up in native / default resolution. I get the spinning color wheel a lot. Its painfully slow and obviously I could use some help with the transition. Clearing out unwanted , incompatible kexts and getting the right ones in.

Its been a while since I messed with my CustoMac so I feel like I'm starting over here on the learning curve. Yikes.

Nope. Not yet. Im planning to do the upgrade to 10.8 today if possible.

Was hoping to have a plan of attack but not really finding specific instructions for the 660ti and i dont want to mess up my computer for a week if i cant pull it off

As long as you boot with GraphicsEnabler=No, you shouldn't have a problem. Mine worked OOB.
