Anybody using GTX 460? Just got one for testing. Can only get it to boot with NVEnabler.kext in low res.

Anybody get it running with Graphics enabler=Yes or otherwise?

wow thats fast, I just read about them coming out today!
Which model / brand do you got ?

It's a Gigabyte GTX 460 - 768MB-GDDR5

let us know! I'm really tempted to buy one of these...

Just an update.

I have tried a few times, fresh install, different bootloaders, fremifix.kext, inserting the device id into resman...

So far no success. I'll keep trying though.

Some others have had success with some of the other cards though.

Will post back when I have more to report.

try to flash the card with another 460 vendor rom (like evga), it may work, because I noticed that all users of gigabyte 4xx cards get black screen.
stay away from overclocked roms though
and don't forget to backup your original rom.

I will be picking up an EVGA 460GTX within the next couple days. Seeing what I can do to help. Running it on a UD2 i5 750 system.

Just an update.

I have tried a bunch of different ways but so far no luck. Based on my trials I am quite sure that the aserebln_fermi boot should work. The code in it contains support for the 460 with the correct device ids.

Using the posted 0x0e2010de&0xffe0ffff string in NVDAResman should work but for some reason I am just booting to black screen.

I have also tried inserting 0x0e2210de 0x0e2210de&0xfff0ffff which is specific to my card but still nothing.

I have also tried adding the id strings to NVDANV50Hal and NVDAGF100Hal but with the same result - Black Screen

I have not tried editing the DSDT directly yet and may give it a shot this weekend.

I also have not yet tried editing the memory info yet but will soon, as my card is 768M while the others are mostly 1Gig cards. I don't think this should make a difference but it is worth a try.

I have also noticed that the drivers we are using are for the 285. Seems NVidia hasn't released OSX drivers for the 4xx series yet. I am hoping that changes soon.

The last thing I see in my verbose boot before the black screen appears is "NVDAGF100Hal loaded and registered"

I wonder if anyone can see anything wrong in there?
Here is the plist from NVDAGF100Hal.kext
