My graphics haven't been the same since the update to 10.6.4. Games don't run well anymore. Is there an update to the GTX 260 or a patch or kext I can download?

Try this updated driver from nVidia: http://www.nvidia.com/object/geforce-ma ... river.html

You must set mac model to macpro3,1(4,1) or extract and install kexts from .pkg manually.

That did the trick. I was only able to install the nvidia driver after I set the model to macpro

I also have a GTX 260 - and would like to be on the latest driver (especially if it's better).

Do I simply change the model to mac pro in multibeast and then install? If so should I change it back to Imac when I"m done or is the model name purely asthetic?

Downgrading to 10.6.3 is a much better solution than installing those drivers.

My system:
GA-P55M-UD2
8GB DDR3
GTX260
