What version of OS X? dsdt edits for HDMI audio are required. HD3000 HDMI audio uses a special Audio ID, 389 in Lion or 3 in ML.

2 choices for AppleHDA.kext:
1. Edit current AppleHDA.kext to remove an output audio device in the current path map.
2. Edit dsdt/HDEF/layout-id to 3 or 389, edit new AppleHDA.kext for 2 wire SPDIF.

More information on AppleHDA.kext edits, see Customizing the Optimized Lion AppleHDA.kext. For HDMI audio edits, see Mountain Lion HDMI Audio - Award DSDT.

Thanks toleda im in 10.8.2
Question if i have uefi how can edit mi dsdt to only add hdmi audio to hd3000?

hi toleda i have 2 error compile in dsdt
name already exists in scope (lpc0)
object does not exist (ATT3) thats wen
Extract dsdt, apply patch for mi mobo and patch with ami efi hd3000
But if i extract dsdt and only patch with ami efi hd3000i got no errors
If i install that dsdt its do nothing

The HDMI audio edits do not fix errors. If "do nothing" means the system does not boot with the edited dsdt, remove the edited dsdt and install the native dsdt. Verify the system boots with the native dsdt. Attach the native dsdt and the edited dsdt and a copy of IOReg. [Guide] How to Make a Copy of IOReg.

hi toleda so nothing i mean it boots but dont change the layout-id check in ioreg and is 1 and in dsdt is 3
ihave the dsdt only with the ami hdmi sound patch
dsdt whit mi mobo and ami hdmi
and a dsdt that work for mi when i only have the hd3000
i dont know if is relevant that i edit appleintelhd3000 kext and appleintelsnbgraphicsFB to have the gtx 260 and hd3000 working

so nothing i mean it boots but dont change the layout-id check in ioreg and is 1 and in dsdt is 3
You missed a very important step:
Mountain Lion HDMI audio - Verify S/L/E and org.chameleon.Boot.plist
1. Delete any and all audio enablers (HDAEnabler8??), helpers (ALC8??), etc.; AppleHDA.kext only.
S/L/E/HDAEnabler1.kext is installed. Delete the kext and repair permissions and cache. Reply with new IOReg.

jaja your right i don´t know how that thing get there but hdmi its working now
but now im trying to edit applehda platform.xml but property list editor don´t start give me an error and with plistedit pro only load a bunch of letters
