GTX 1050 Ti Doesn't Work Well with HDTV

pretty new to hackintosh so forgive me if this is something basic

I have a 1050ti LP running this driver, it work great to my monitor via display port, but when connected to my TV via hdmi (to watch movies) video playback is unsmooth.

My setup (vlc>1050ti>hdmi>samsung works fine when its booted in windows so i think its a driver or setup issue.

Any pointers or ideas would be very welcome as, I have had a poke around but, I have not been able to find the solution.

Using a pc on any tv via hdmi will always have some kind of input lag and will look as if delayed , if that’s what you mean

not really a lag issue, more of a small horizontal split in the image, it most noticeable in fast motion sequences
