GTS450 HDMI Audio

Hi guys,

Unfortunately im not currently in a position to test this myself, so hopefully you can help.

Just wondering if the HDMI out's on the GTS450 pass the audio through, or if they are video only?

HDMI audio on your system requires:

1. Backup system.
2. DSDT edited for HDMI audio (GFX0 and HDAU)
3. AppleHDA.kext (from OSX 10.6.4). Patching more recent versions (10.6.5 and 10.6.6) will not work.
4. Patch AppleHDA (10.6.4), install, repair permissions.
5. Plug in HDMI device, reboot,
6. Select Built-in HDMI in System Preferences/Sound/Output
7. Enjoy.

This is not hard, however, each step must be done correctly. Good luck.
