The most useful answer is 'no'.
You can use vga or dvi-dvi, but HDMI in 10.6.7 with that family of cards doesn't work.
You could downgrade to 10.6.3, I think, and have it work if you prefer.

and i run xcode 4 on my mac,so i cant downgrade

Then, you need a new video card, or to use a DVI or VGA cable instead of HDMI or DVI-HDMI conversion.
If you go with the new video card, don't get an 8800, 9800, etc...they're all the same as your 250. I switched to a 5870. No issues Or, buy a monitor that has dvi instead of hdmi in.
