Graphics Problems GT640

I have a new idea. I'm probably one of the rare people that is using toslink for audio. Is it possible that I have a conflict with the card? I just noticed that my audio (Realtek 892) doesn't seem to be working with this new card installed.
 
Audio is now working.

Graphics still bad. Scrolling launchpad to new page crashes GPU.
 
I ended up using HD 4000 as 2560x1600 with the displayport.

With Asus P8Z77-V, set the Graphics Memory to 64MB and iGPU as primary. MacPro 3,1. Works perfect so far.

FYI - I used an adapter to get DVI. $45 on eBay.
