Yes, i know that the fermi cards run very hot.
And i also know that sometimes the gpu runs hotter in osx86 than on windows.
After a couple of minutes with the system on (idle) the gpu starts rising up
Also, when i watch a flash video the gpu starts getting hotter and it never decreases.
So, i booted up in windows and quickly open gpu-z to see the temps
80°c.!!!!
I think that´s to much for being in idle. don´t you think?
Also the gpu fan is locked at 30% or 40%
I´ve tried:
- smbios macpro 3,1 4,1 and 5,1.
- add my card id to applegraphicspowermanagment
What can i do?
Is there any way to increase the gpu fan?
Is there other things to edit in applegraphicspowermanagment?
Thank you!
