GPU going in for repair, need to switch to IG

so rather be safe than sorry....I wanted to know if I removed my GPU and plugged my monitor into my mobo to use HD4600 on i5-4690 cpu, will it work right away? I understand that HD4600 is native to OS but will I have to make any adjustments since I have been using my GPU this whole time. Any advice is appreciated.

You will need to disable the Nvidia drivers - you can do it per boot with the boot flags "nv_disable=1 nvda_drv=0", or simply uninstall them so you don't have to keep typing in the boot flags every boot. That should be all you need to do.
