What about ASUS X99-A /USB 3.1 ? J install fake CPU for i7-5820K . All works good but J can't overclocking this processor . Max CPU is 3.3 GHz . On idle is 1.2 GHz . Set core ratio to 40 , 43 no work. Testing all cpu/states setting . J install OS X 10.11.1 and newest clover 3330. Please help !

J change motherboard on Gigabyte X99 UD4. With Fake CPU ID for i7-5820K over clocking is no problem.
Here is for core ratio x47. No SSDT is needed.

That GB score seems kind of low for a 6 core, i seen the i7-4790k do 22k.

I Never got mine to go over 18500k and that's at a very noisy multiple fans running @ full speed environment. What's the trick?

Are you saying it will not work on a 5960X? That's exactly my other setup where I have poorer performance than my sig system. I'll try anyway. If any of you know where to get the info on why it's possible or not, please do tell me.
